My name is Carole, and I’m married with two grown sons, 2 Labradors, and an adopted cat. I work full-time alongside my husband, running our own business.

My passion for gymnastics started at a very young age. In fact, I was rarely "the right way up," as my parents liked to joke! By 13, I was training seven days a week and competing at a high level, until, unfortunately, at 15 an injury abruptly ended my gymnastics career.

At 18, after relocating to the area, I began coaching children’s gymnastics at Shrewsbury, which was a deeply rewarding experience. As my sons developed a love for swimming, I decided to make the most of their pool time by becoming a swimming instructor for their club, while also swimming training myself - and even competing!

Throughout these years, I developed a deep appreciation for yoga and Pilates. Once my children became more independent, I found myself with more time on my hands. I decided to pursue something for myself and trained as a Pilates instructor. It was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

I truly love Pilates and the benefits it offers. With my gymnastics background and a natural inclination for movement, I understand how Pilates can benefit people of all fitness levels—whether you're young, old, rehabilitating from an injury, a busy professional, a sports person, or someone who spends a lot of time sitting or driving. Pilates is for everyone. It doesn't matter how fit, flexible, or strong you are – or aren’t - Pilates should be a part of your life.

My motto. Use it or lose it. And I have no intention of losing it.

It is my intention to still be doing this when I'm old and grey!
